Go check out Canon rumors. Canon is putting out whole new set of Cinema Lens and Video Camera. If you like shooting video, save up and move to Canon.

7D by definition is not FF wow...

FF should be 1D/1Ds/1DX series... right?

But until the camera really shows up, either as a real and available product, or as pre-production sample unit, I won't believe any of the Canon rumours law.

yes, we know 7D is crop sensor. that's why our bro above wants a full frame with 7D focus system.

Among a ton of photographers at the Occupy Vancouver, I saw one old guy still shooting Manual focus cameras (one Nikon F, and one Leica M6). Really count your blessing at least we all got AF.

I wouldn't mind if Canon will do the same thing to the new 1DX, just call the next 5D series "3D" ... when the EOS 3 is still named the best AF film body .... ^_^

It's another $$$ burning game...

I'm more curious about the performance of the 7D II releasing next year. Does it act much closer to a CAMcorder or whatsoever...

FF is good, but Canon is always short on the wide angle lens, having a 16-35 II I would rather go with the prime, having a prime I would rather go for a Zeiss instead of Canon... Buy hey, Zeiss is MF...

Internal looping starts again...

To me, Zeiss provides the best wide angle image (in terms of 3D feel and colour vividity)

at the wide end, you don't really need to focus at all.

5D mark III should be a water down version of 1DX. Canon doesn't make whole lot of money of the Pro camera. But sell tons of $2-3k camera.

Their quality is not good wor .. (depends what you compare)

Price .. again ... depends what to compare .. Nikon 14-24 is great quality and decent price, (a bit too much distortion) but their 16-35 F4 is high price .. compare to Canon 17-40 F4L ..

I do agree the Canon 14L is a bit over price .. since no other choice, so Canon can ask more (vs Nikon 13mm .. not bad! LOL) It is about as sharp as Nikon 14-24 (and that is zoom for less $$) but better control on distortion (well, prime)

I don't have much Pentax or Minolta/Sony etc wide angle ... so .. dont hv experience to give any comment ...

And I don't have the 8-15 yet, not sure how good it is, from the spec/price, seems like a great lens!
