Any LYK has experience with seeking psychiatric counselling? I found only two counsellors in Richmond that speaks Cantonese or Mandarin.

There is a free one in Richmond Caring Place. They can speak Cantonese and Mandarin.

Also the Success provides phone counselling help.

【溫哥華訊】在溫哥華沿海岸衛生局等單位以及超過60位熱心無私的義工的通力合作之下，中僑心理熱線在華人社區當中扮演著即時的情緒支持和社區資源分享的角色。

這個提供國語、粵語專業華人服務的電話熱線，每天從上午10點至晚上10點，每週7天，全年無休的服務，讓心情出口不打烊。許多求助無門的華人可借助這條熱線，匿名、免費的用母語尋得第一時間的幫助。

中僑心理熱線日前舉辦感恩會，會中義工共聚一堂，60多位的義工在過往5年當中，見證到家庭問題、移民適應問題以及心理健康問題等逐漸成為華人移民尋求幫助的主要因素。

同時由於中僑心理熱線服務的保密性，除了華裔女士以外，許多華裔男士也願意打開心扉與心理熱線義工分享他們的困擾。若來電求助者的情緒困擾需要進一步的專業治療，心理熱線義工便會轉介當事人到專業心理輔導機構或心理衛生單位尋求幫助。

中僑心理熱線的義工是一群由兩岸三地前來的華人移民所組成。每一位義工的背景和專業都不甚相同，但是他們都是秉持著服務社會及關懷華人社區的愛心來回饋大眾。每一位中僑心理熱線的義工都是在經過40小時的專業心理熱線義工訓練後，成為華人移民傾訴心情的好朋友。

在屆滿五週年之際，中僑心理熱線將會持續地為華人社區提供聆聽與支持的服務。中僑心理熱線國語熱線：604-270-8222；粵語熱線：604-270-8233。

This is the one in Caring Place Richmond. They provide free Mandarin and Cantonese counselling help.

Gordon Lai charges $100/hr. I can't imagine if I go to a English speaking place + translator will cost how much.
