1年合約 每天至少介紹1食肆

卑詩省烈治文市旅遊局（Tourism Richmond）正在招聘一個年薪5萬元的美食博客(Foodie Bolgger)，主要工作是在一年合約期內，每天前往至少一家烈市食肆用餐，並撰寫圖文並茂的網誌，為烈市打造國際美食之都的形象。

烈治文旅遊局行政總裁萊克曼（Tracy Lakeman）表示，本次徵聘活動向全世界招手，由3月1日至3月31日，應徵者可以在旅遊局的臉書網頁（www.facebook.com/RichmondBC）登記申請，經首輪篩選後，將選出10人進入面談程序，最後獲選的1人，就成為「烈治文美食博客」。

貼心提供健身會籍

她還表示，由於博客每天都要「應付美食」，為了避免發胖，主辦單位還貼心提供了烈治文冬奧速滑館(Richmond Olympic Oval)的一年會員證，讓博主在吃吃喝喝之餘，不忘使用館內的健身房健身。

如果贏得合約的博客是來自大溫以外的其他省份或其他國家，主辦單位也會提供一年的柏文住宿津貼，以便博主可以專心工作；另外，還會補貼博主去餐館的用餐費用以及車馬費，條件甚為優渥。

打造美食之都形象

烈治文旅遊局傳訊部主任鄧恩（Michelle Dunn）表示，目前烈市大小食肆超過800家，其中屬於亞洲風味的食肆即達400多家，不少是高水準的中餐館，充分展現了烈治文在餐飲方面的多元文化魅力。

以每天至少外出用餐一次計算，這個年薪5萬的博客，將在一年內介紹至少365家食肆，且不能重複介紹。

鄧恩說，烈治文堪稱美食寶藏，而舉辦這項活動，就是在向全世界介紹市內的多元美食，冀能吸引更多遊客，到烈市展開美食之旅。

This is a hard job..
A restaurant a day and need to write good thing about it.
Some restaurants will have nothing to write about ....

But I don't think 50k is enough to attract knowledgeable, international foodists! Also, they better be open-minded...I've lived in Richmond for 14 years, and I've eaten in many, if not most, Asian restaurants across Richmond...very few Westerners are open to even trying tripe!

before writing good stuff of the restaurants...I wish that the food safety inspection authority could do more frequent checking, making sure the restaurants are safe & clean

I believe this is a good way to promote Richmond. Other than food, is there anything else that can really attract tourists coming to Richmond （night market could be one）?

When we traveled (自駕游) in Japan, food was often one of the top reasons we visit a particular place or restaurant. Sometimes the restaurant was far off and we had to walk a long way (from where we parked) to find it.

Maybe we can have a PNE over there and that can be integrated with the night market...

Location can be in the south end of the city where vacancy and traffic are excellant...

If Richmond has a year-round night market, it will definitely be an attraction to tourists.

If it can be a "士林夜市", Richmond will be filled with people every night.

My old classmate used to work at a chain restaurant.  She had a monthly allowance to dine out at other restaurants, and she picked up all the tabs at our gathering.  Too bad she now got a different job now.

It would not be easy,you have to order several dishes to determine the overall quality and consistency of food;then, depends on the allowable budget, a proper meal with multiple dishes and wine is not cheap. A food critic
may get $50  per meal which is not adequate at all.
