We were doing the wedding photo shooting at a beach side in Ma On Shan. And Steven made this classic jump.
This's exactly the typical expression in Cantonese 開心到飛起 (being so happy like flying up to the sky).

amm.... how can I put it... I have use flickr A LOT... haha. And there are many nice pictures on flickr. Lots of profession photographer's work too. I really don't know how to put the question in a better way. May be I can post a few of my previous fav and see what you think? (I haven't been adding more fav for a while)

there are a lot of photos posted on the web
for people to look at, and people look at them for various reasons

i look at flicker because i want to see what people are doing with their cameras, specifically in hongkong
and vancouver

basically its this " show me the pictures you take in hongkong with your camera
if i see something that is an inspiration to me, that touches my heart, i put them here
because it takes a lot of time to see photos on the web and not everyone look at flickr

if i see some photos that are more or less the kind that i
want my camera to take , i call them nice and put them here

why i put them here on loyaukee
because lots of people must have bought digital cameras, but not many people are putting up
their own photos on this forum, this thread is meant to be an inspiration to people like myself who is not using the camera to the max

when you have a camera you want nice photos,

i use olympus c-740  3 megapixel 10x zoom
i shoot eagles

so it is nice for me to compare my photos with  others on flicker, particularly with those who
shoot eagles with an olympus camera,
(. these photos i use to measure and compare with my own photos,
i  call these photos  nice, they are the models i aspire too ..)

my pics only show the eagles at rest,

how can i take nice and special photos with my camera?

that is the question for all of us who are on board the digital camera revolution.

this thread is to show what the world is doing with their cameras , what are their ways
( flicker is the same age as loyaukee, but it has achieve world status as a camera forum)

most of the photos that catch my attention are taken by DSLR
that is odd, because i highly disapprove of any wannabes buying a DSLR
because most people run out of steams in this digital camera revolution and go into hybernation over
long period of photo inactivity
their DSLR will simply become a registered item in the huge database of the Missing DSLR task force

so i am delighted to see someone posted a pic with a
Polaroid / i832

Who would have thought that Sigma, with its comparatively tiny budget and short history of producing cameras, would release one of the most important compact digital models of 2008, and perhaps of all time?

Fengshen has also caused lanslides and thunderstorms. The wind has brought severe damage and is strongly wrecking the city. The Strong Wind Signal No.3 was hoisted at 11:15 a.m., June 25, 2008.

in the years that i have been interested in digital photography

i have always felt that DSLR is inappropriate for myself and most people

the only time when a DSLR is needed is perhaps for the girl above in the china town newyear parade

as i remembered , it was a rainy day, and most cameras got a soaking,
no photos that day really required a DSLR, except perhaps to capture the pure and sheer beauty of youth
