中國同菲律賓的執法船在南海黃岩島對峙，持續第四個星期，局勢愈趨緊張，日本防衛省指，解放軍一支大型艦隊正在南下，目的地不明；日本海上自衛隊偵察機，偵察到這支艦隊由五艘軍艦組成，其中包括大型兩棲登陸艦，這支艦隊在上星期日已位處台灣東南海域。在北京，副外長傅瑩不足一個月內，第三度傳召菲律賓駐華使館臨時代辦提出交涉，她指出，鑒於菲方不斷挑釁，中方公務船將繼續對黃岩島海域保持警戒，她指，目前形勢難以樂觀，警告菲方不要錯判形勢 ，中方已做好應對菲方擴大事態的各種準備。人民網發表署名文章，指菲律賓當局不能將中國的善意視為軟弱可欺，忍無可忍無需再忍的時候，中方不介意和菲方共同創造一個“黃岩島模式”。

中新网5月8日电 据外交部网站消息，2012年5月7日，中国外交部副部长傅莹约见菲律宾驻华使馆临时代办蔡福炯，就当前黄岩岛事件向菲方提出严正交涉。

　　傅莹说，黄岩岛事件发生已近一月，本应尽早平息。我上个月两次与你约谈，要求菲律宾方面冷静下来，不再采取使事态扩大化、复杂化的行动。但是，菲方显然没有认识到正在犯严重的错误，反而变本加厉地不断扩大事态，不但继续派公务船在黄岩岛泻湖内活动，而且不断发表错误言论，误导国内和国际公众，煽动民众情绪，严重损害双边关系气氛。我们对形势难以乐观。

　　傅莹强调，黄岩岛是中国固有领土。希望菲方不要误判形势，不计后果地不断推动事态升级。鉴于菲方不断挑衅，中方公务船将继续对黄岩岛海域保持警戒，中国渔政船也将依照中囯法律对渔船进行管理，提供服务，为中国渔民在自己的传统渔场的生产作业提供良好的环境。中方敦促菲方撤走在黄岩岛海域的船只，绝不能再干扰中国渔船作业，更不得干扰中国政府公务船依法执行公务。中方也做好了应对菲方扩大事态的各种准备。

　　傅莹说，中方将坚持通过外交协商解决当前事态的立场。中方再次敦促菲方认真回应中方关切，尽快回到正确道路上来。

With couple submarines to go along, it is enough to keep their vessles in base.  

I don't think China wants to engage but it needs to demonstrate its position.

Philippines navy is just a couple of old US ships. Some of them dating from WWII era.

問題係，南海有基地咩？？
黄岩島太近菲律賓，你打走佢地，你一返海南島基地佢又會番黎，對菲律賓黎講係近岸作戰，成本平好多。
仲有，先唔理菲律賓地空軍有幾屎，但係都係作戰半徑內，解放軍冇空軍支援，蝕章左啲喎。

China has more than 5 vessles and 2 submarines. It can easily maintain enforcement by rotation. In additional, it now can have an excute to establish a navy base in South China Sea which would be very sensitive action to take that will raise inernational political concerns and fears during peaceful time.

黄岩島個頭咁淺水～～潛艇廢左一半功力了～～～
都係個句，冇空軍支援，戰爭風險同成本高好多。
有航母戰鬥群就唔同咁講法，但係呢家得個五首船去人地門口打，勉強左啲......

China has to make a bold move to protect its territories.
If Vietnam wants to join the US, just let them. China should not just standby and do nothing about the islands in the South China sea, for fear that Vietnam will join the US.

Once China takes back the whole South China sea, they can develop all the oil and gas there, and patrol wherever they want.

如果呀爺同東盟過唔到..哈哈哈....
一個馬六甲海峽都玩得死呀爺,
支持緬甸軍政府同巴基斯場就係因為佢有孟加拉灣同亞拉伯海，冧得掂佢地就可以起油管，直接係伊朗買油唔洗經過馬六甲海峽。呢家緬甸反骨，巴基斯坦就俾美軍自出自入，係咪一個南海既油氣就可頂得住中東既來貨呢？？

China has to show other Asian countries they are the strongest in Asia and the protector in Asia. If you are the strongest then they will join you.

Many Asia countries are benefiting from trade with China, but at the same time occupy Chinese territories e.g Japan, Philippines, and Vietnam. If China cannot defend its territories against smaller Asian countries, then forget about dealing with the US.

Burma, Malaysia and Singapore have nothing to do with South China sea dispute and are still friends with China. So the Melacca Straits is still safe. Pakistan is still angry with the US attack on bin laden without notifying them first. Burma is still under strong China economic influence.

錯喇，東南亞各國係同中國爭緊世界工廠個地位，已經慢慢由合作伙伴轉變成為競爭對手。
