和光堂及森永初生嬰兒奶粉的含碘量低於世衞標準，相關入口商現已停售，並自願回收；但日本森永乳業昨日發表聲明強調，沒有直接出口奶粉到香港，產品是根據日本標準生產，可以放心食用，又解釋由於日本人日常從海藻攝取大量碘，根據當地標準，不容許再添加碘；和光堂母公司朝日控股亦表示，各地標準存在差異，有關奶粉獲得日本消費者廳認可。

森永乳業聲明稱，被查出的「問題奶粉」在日本生產，可能有香港進口商從日本訂購；又指日本國內未曾發生缺碘問題，因此與世衞標準不同，但表示一些國家或地區設有建議標準，例如森永在中國生產的產品，就有添加碘。

各地標準存在差異

對於森永的聲明，本港入口商山川貿易發言人表示不清楚，只強調多年來直接向森永購入奶粉，奶粉亦由日本入口，希望能了解事件。昨日只有一名家長退回五罐奶粉。和光堂本港入口商香港益生貿易發言人表示，昨回收四十罐奶粉，涉十五名家長。

Yeah I don't get it...baby under 6 months should only drink formula or breastfeed. If they are on formula, the mom's diet w/ sea weed has nothing to do with the baby wor!

Japan tap water with high level of iodine.

If their formula add extra iodine, their babies will OD.

全世界主要出產天然iodine的三個地區為Chile, Japan, US (Oklahoma)．

日本的水，含iodine比其他地方為高，十分合理．

碘有分生物碘同礦物碘，若然你講既係礦物碘，我明白…但係，若果這是生物碘，我就R爆頭… 同食水有乜野關係?

It does not make sense at all. Even if Japan is a large producer of iodine, they are not going to put a lot of iodine in their water supply, since they know they eat way too much sea weed in their diet already. Excessive iodine is not good.

As for the milk powder's lack of iodine, this also does not make sense, since people do not feed their babies with seaweed.

and the baby would have enough from the mother who bears him/her.

those milk formula were never intended to be exported.
If they are for exported, they will pull back iodine in them.
Japanese government ban any addition iodine in local milk formula.

大家都知‘硬’水，其硬從何而來？使唔使你放啲鑛物質入去？無乜國家會去完全抽走其‘硬’才用作自來水。
誰說日本是在自來水中加添錪才使其自來水高錪？

一個地區能大量出產鑛物性錪，其地層自然存在大量的錪及錪的化合物，錪是高水溶性，自然容易擴散於四周的生活環境中。日本人食用大量生物性錪，自然在生活循環中，流放大量的錪，在其動植物中循環。兩大源頭就足以經由泥土“污染”水源，整個生態環境都高錪，日本‘水’自然比其他的地區高錪含量。

從日本有條例限制額外加錪入當地奶粉（唔係奶粉廠無良，唔似強國為減成本偷工減料），就看得出，他們是有關注日本自來水是高錪，若再加錪，沖出來的奶就會出現錪超標。

我地幾十年前啲奶粉邊有今日咁高標準！大家咪一樣幾咁精ling.

好有興趣知道皮蛋仔會買邊樣呢？
