Please comment and advise what will you react if you found "order paper" in a mug serviced to you.

In HK, it's probably normal in "cha chan ten" or "dai pai don". But in Vancouver, no way.

A order paper in your order is just a piece of cake la, I think I will take it out by myself cause it's very common in most of the restaurant. They always put the order paper in the dish and that's mean the dish is ready to bring out. For me, order paper is ok, how about if you find some body hair in your bowl?

I make it clear. The order paper is inside a mug of "tea". That means the paper having a "bath" not a shower inside.

I stayed in Hong Kong for the last 4 months, lucky me I do not pick something from the serviced mug from local "cha chan ten" at Kwun Tong, Tai Po, Tseuk Kwan O, Mongkok, TST, North Point.

This time, I have this "wonderful" experience from at resturant/"cha chan ten" on the west side of Main + 14.

I will take a pic first and then complain. You know what, my friends in HK found a little wire in his congee, then he complain and the people agnore him. Then, he took pic and then complain to another staff, finally they don't charge that congee

Yes, to take a picture is a good evidence to complain. I never think about this point and I will have my camera all the time.

From now on, this is their lucky day, if they change the posined food quicky, otherwise I will forward the picture to whoever going to work with that.

Can you give more hints about this "Cha Chan Tan", is it on Main street and also have the branch in Rmd and Coquitlam?

tell them to change the drink, order something totally different, or else they will just take that paper out and pretend nothing happened.

i once was at this taiwan noodle house across from pasta polo in coquitlam
my bro first...he found a hair in his noodle, ok suen la take it out and continue la, maybe accident la....
then continue eating...later found another hair INSIDE the noodle...like its in the noodle dough... and we were like...er...

Not just for Cha Chan Tan la.. I saw many jap restaurants putting the order paper right on the sashimi when the chef finished cutting and waiting for waitor to deliver the food to the tables. then waitor just lift the paper when they pick up the sashimi...
