Don't find it surprised when you meet people who drive a car for 4 years without checking the tire pressure even once.

but seriously. if ppl buy new car. than they dont care about it. since they think service will take care of it for them.

err... no... I check mine usually once a week, or at least once every 2 weeks.

In theory a tire without puncture, good valve stem, well mounted should not leak any air in a short period of time (i.e. 6 months).  This is the case if you have a new car.  I remember when my car was new, I only checked the pressure every few months and the pressure is good, no loss.  Occationally, I get a few pounds less across all tires, but I guess that was because I haven't checked for too long, like a year.  Then I replaced my tires without putting in new valve stems.  Big mistake!  I had to put some air in every now and then...

So, make sure you get a new valve when you buy new tires!

i was replacing my snow tires with all season.... it just dawned on me that i needed new tires... they are getting worn down to its grooves... time to get new ones... but considering my flat wallet...... T^T

Typically, I try to check tire pressure on a monthly basis. Of course, if I were to go race ...


victoria street isn't that bad, if u go walk around hasting street, even worse la!

i dun check my tire pressure that often, maybe once a month too
