幾日前係到睇到2013 年度最喜愛的大溫哥華食肆所謂既食客心水之選真係睇完就得啖笑. 咩新瑞華, 釣魚台, 何源記都有獎我(地)接受唔到囉.

有幾個老友記都話自己選好過. 有見及此, 小弟瞻粗粗搞個你最喜愛的大溫哥華食肆(LYK 版) 等我地自己選(希望有人支持啦). 睇下邊幾間可以入選得獎

I don't think I go out and eat Chinese food enough to vote... I only frequent a few of them.
最佳台式食肆 - 三味食堂
最佳上海食肆 - Long's Noodle House 小龍記麵家
最佳高級食肆 - I think 鴻星 on Granville St was pretty good but last time I went was 1 year ago.
最佳點心食肆 - I don't go often but some how, I do not like 龍景軒 which everyone else love. I think my body doesn't agree with the brand of MSG that they use.
最佳火鍋店 - Claypot Hotpot 農場火鍋
最佳素菜館 - 4 stones 雅室友
最佳港式茶餐廳 - ?? 鹿園(?茶餐廳?) I only eat fish soup noodle there...
最佳餅店 - don't think anyone will agree with me but I like New Town's chinese steam buns. I don't like Asian style bakery in general. (too airy and light for me)
最佳燒味店 - Parker place

FYI. According to my understanding, bo kwong kitchen is the same as 普光素食 on Kingsway/Knight.

As far as I know of, the ownership changed.
The original spot on Main becomes 清心素食, and 清心 recently acquired another spot underneath Burrard Bridge on Beach Avenue operated under the name "八寶齋". 清心 on Main quality has a bit degraded as the main chefs were switched to 八寶齋 . The taste of 八寶齋 is not bad. Environment is great too. Although the location is awkward/tricky but there're quite a bit of reserve parkings (no one visiting, right underneath Burrard Bridge next to the piers). Worth a try next time when you are at DT fighting for parkings...

BTW, I have to point out that service is a bit weird as the servers are pretty "GREEN"...

How do you define "酒樓"? Dim sum, banquet or both? There are 2 separate batch of chefs...
BTW, if you would like to ask for the best pizza, IMO you better have that in a new post... Otherwise this election will be endless...

I thought this list is all Chinese food.
Well, best pizza depends on what kind of pizza you like: thin, thick, NY, Chicago, Japanese, Neapolitan, crispy. loaded with toppings, only enough, simple, creative, fusion...etc.

Can you find some non 冰鮮 meat locally in the public market? Maybe you can shed some lights on me...
燒鵝, of course it's 明爐...

In addition, 晚飯 usually refers to 酒家... 酒樓, 茶樓 pretty much equivalent to 點心...

Btw, went to 海港 for dinner recently...I think it goes downhill, yet the price is so high .... can see by the few tables in dinner time on a weekend...

And the captain seems changed...

Probably won't go back...too bad I miss the 第一包，金沙包

Went there once after it moves to the river rock location. Dim sum is not that bad. Service is ok though. But it really bothers me that high-chair ran out and no change table in the washroom. I do expect a change table in new restaurants...

點心車 are fine. But every time I had to wait for the 點心車 to go around the place before you can see what dim sum is available on each cart.

They are not 火鍋店 and absolutely not the best at doing it. It's like voting Chinese sweet and sour pork place in Metrotown food court as the best 點心 place. Or voting McD as the best fine dinning place.

but I found their food quite fresh wor, and lots of things to choose from on the list
I have visited like 3 other ayce hotpot places (河豚，小肥牛，農場), but I still like 牛仔 the best
