http://blaineenterprises.com/ that's what I use..... only $3 for snowboard delivery ($3 per parcel) and actually closer than point roberts from my home....bad thing is bad weekend hours (saturday only until 12pm and sunday close)

Problem with Blaine is you sometimes get taxed.

With PR, I never got taxed when the total is under $400...

I NEVER get taxed under $400. I always buy up till $350 < $ < $400 before going down.

Experience #1: I ordered some big items, like 3 feet long. Paid $389.74 online shipping included. When it gets to the door, the courier charges me $81.37. It's like 20% surcharge.

Experience #2: I ordered some small items, like <1 feet long. Paid <$200 online shipping included. It went in the mail box, no surcharge at all.

How I think: If you buy big size item get it shipped to border, drive thru customs without " Taxed ", you saved the "courier's surcharge". and the PR/Blaine TSB parcel fee is very minimal. i can't think of anything else besides gasoline cost, hours of time cost, and maybe some risks cost of being hit on the trip...etc

Penalized, why? just normal 12% tax, no duty although most of the items are clothing and shoes (and you know where they are made in).

I know garment is over 12% tax ga...coz long time ago I got some clothing shipped to here....custom charge me like 18%.... I forgot exactly rate la...

I think B2L2 just got taxed cos they did report how much they purchased.
If they tried to hide their shopping and was discovered by the custom officer from a search, then they may get penalized.

Most ppl agree to just be honest and report their purchase. And they may or may not get taxed.

I rather go more frequently for smaller amounts than buying one large amount in one trip.
