之前都唔鐘意香辣屋, 依家有8折coupon再試一試...

呀媽叫野食, 2拼
講完一陣等佢寫, 我問個waitress使唔使比定張coupon佢先, 佢竟然叫我"唔好噪主, 等佢(我呀媽)order完先"
之後問我"佢用張coupon你就無", 我當堂WTF

, 我心諗"廢話"

凍擰樂走冰, 我叫走冰, 來到暖都算, 可樂90%淡同完全無氣...
換個杯返嚟, 無冰, 凍, 有甜, 有氣... 當初拎嚟唔覺有問題??

$8.xx晚餐, 好細碟, 算!
$9.xx 2拼
牛扒要5成比10成熟, 重要無肉質同味
2 碟嘅雞扒同樣煎到個低勁硬, 應該因為肉質太"梅", 所以煎到個低勁硬, 無肉質同味

埋單施捨左$1 tips, 無8折都唔好試...
大把好過佢

I give up on HK style cafe in Canada. I still go when my friends want to eat at HK style cafes but we never really choose to go.
I still go to cart noodle and fish soup noodle places tho.

btw 8折coupon usually refers as 20% off not a "80% coupon"

HK style cafe, I usually go to 1+1, and there also a number of good ones in the foodcourts too

It is difficult to find few items on the CCT menu worth to eat:
always cheap cut of meat and sub-standard sanitation condition.
Stay away from so- called minute steak, just tenderized with baking soda. Spaghetti and
fried rice are mushy in the steam table. Once you visit the kitchen, you lose all your appetite.

I know... Never order "steak" at CCT. Usually just stir fried item (high heat hopefully to kill the bugs) with mostly veggies... or thin strips of meat (so hopefully they skip the baking soda)

Only food I order at CCT would be Egg tarts and Pineapple buns hot from the oven.
maybe BBQ Duck Lai Fun if the duck is fresh ( not from the fridge)

The best CCT which still has consistent food quality is Li Do Cafe.

麗都菠蘿飽都唔係自己做, 買人地做好啲飽, 番嚟焗之嘛
唯一係新鮮.

間間新鮮出爐都好好味嫁啦.

但係頂唔順麗都太污穢不堪. 用料質量又唔係特別好, 只去過兩次.

Li Do has its own group of fans. Waiting time can be long on weekends and holidays.

I think Happy Date makes its own pinapple buns too
