Do you want to do that at Richmond? You could contact 字典仔 who's shop is at No. 5. 字典仔 is an older timer LYK but he didn't come visit often. I could message you his number.
My brother took his car to 字典仔's shop for inspector before purchasing recently and he did a more then perfect job for us.

My brother bought his car privately. So after our initial check up, we then asked the previous owner to setup an inspection at 字典仔's shop (we paid for that either the deal goes thru or not). I am going to guess...
1) oil leaking ( head/ block/ pan)
2) odomenter illegal adjusting
3) antifreeze leaking ( radiator/ pump)
4) ps pump/ hose leaking
5) re defogger not working
6) transmission fluid leaking
7) shocks fluid leaking
8) sunroof water leaking
9) caterlytic converter malfunction

Rust will be a major concern if you're looking for older cars.
Some of the things you listed isn't harmful and easy/cheap to fix as DIY. Excellent excuse to lowball the seller. Somebody junk is gold for others.作者: blowfish 時間: 2013-12-25 11:06

some newer cars all the electronics are very finnicky and annoying.
saw a mid 90s merc that needs to change the door lock, is only the micro switch fails, rest of lock is good. the costs is 500.
electronics can be as costly as an engine or trans job too.
