Assume you have the correct 110V power supply ? not 220V
Does it boot up and get online?

I have set one up for a friend. It's a very hopeless box in Vancouver
At least half the functions are not working because we are not in China/HK, even those apps that we can use, it's all Mandarin speaking. We've tested a few movies, they are all in Mandarin.
It's a good box for people from mainland (that's what it's design for).
For Cantonese shows, TVPad 2 is your best box.

Just bought a cheap Android TV box from the Internet, plug it into my LED TV and found it can run almost all Android software, including all the TV apps. Now I am enjoying all the TV shows and old HK movies people put on the Youtube.
I am glad I did not buy the 小米盒子 or any TV box while I was in HK, because I think most are overpriced and may not work here. 作者: pkphilip 時間: 2014-3-15 19:11
I am not saying the TVPad is good, but they have the content there, whoever is providing the content is doing an excellent job for those who just want something that works without downloading or looking for stuff.
