Just wondering if there is income tax difference between T4 & T4A (Self-employed commissions)?

There is no difference as far as income figure is concerned - they are both your income. The only difference is that for T4A commission income, you may be able to deduct some of your related expenses from it which will reduce your tax payable on the T4A amount.
