its not bad
definitely not great if you are a hong kong film watcher who've seen other jet li or jackie chan movies when they were young.
its definitely geared towards the white pop.作者: Maggie 時間: 2008-5-10 20:13
It's entertaining.
Tickets sold out so quickly that we had to watch the next one on schedule... the theater was packed 30 mins before the movie started and I had to sit on the front row...
People were laughing so bad throughout the movie (so many kids that were easily satisfied by silly moves) like J Chan starts speaking English all of the sudden (and so as everyone else...), how the 2 J teach the white guy Kung Fu, J Chan asks for rain but gets J Li 's pee... ppl liked the movie so much that when it finished, ppl started clapping...
But I think as long as ppl had a good time, it's considered job well-done. I don't love this movie but I wouldn't mind using it to entertain my friends as it does make ppl laugh easily.作者: Hyde 時間: 2008-5-11 01:47
i think the mandarin version is better and looks less out of place.作者: myversa 時間: 2008-5-12 09:10
The one in the movie theater is in English?
I just watched Mandarin version from my computer and both my wife and I thought it was an okay film. Fightings in the film except two J fight each other are all kind of slow. And there was not enough comedy. The fight between two Js is pretty long and I rather break it up to two or three different fights.
