as a family man: I do luv cooking @ home.
from backyard bbq to home-based cooking, mostly southern style and SE asian style cooking (thai, indonesian, etc.)
Lately I've been into claypot style cooking....
hiking? I like going to Capilano water shed for day-hikes, would go as far as Squamish when I have time...Most hikes within 3 hrs or so. I'd really hope that some day, I can get my buddy to go back to Birkenhead. Last time when we were there (with some other friends) some 17 yrs ago: we ended up staying in a wooden cabin house up on the top of garibaldi provincial park -- ended up staying overnite @ Elfin lakes shelter (natural gas heated, 15bux a nite, first-come-first-serve, bunk beds...)
