Come on Admin, EIGHT and a HALF months is bit long for banning Goddy just because he flooded your crappy forum with crap.

I think it would be wrong to equate Goddy with Lancer, as the result would be much quieter and more uneventful than you would imagine.

If you take a song or just any music and take out the fortissimo and pianissimo you end up with ****ty pop-songs like we have today: soft, and easily disgusted by morons.

小弟唔係完全同意law. soft d 即係溫文d, 係有禮貌既表現~
溫文既人唔代表佢地講既野係 meaningless and lifeless, 只要有point就有意思啦.

講野要有抑揚頓挫, 唱歌都要有唔同既音調, 小弟非常贊同.
但係講粗口都要講環境, 如果o係一個唔比講粗口既地方去講粗口, 呢個擺到明係一個挑戰. 就等如o係一個養狗既朋友既屋企食狗肉咁, 好唔尊重人既.

In my opinion politeness is a protocol for disguise, and anyone can be polite while doing terrible things. (We are all clothed animals after all.) What I advocate is the moderate use of swear words instead of the "selective-zero-tolerance" policy lyk have. Can't be extremely polite or rude, somewhere in between would be nice.

Like you said, as long as there is a friggin point, but more importantly is how or whether people will find you message interest-or even worthy-for them spend time to digest.

While your analogy is correct, I don't think it is wise to think this forum and everywhere else in this world is your home, as soon as you interact with other people "outside" there is a good chance you will get challenged. If I respect you as human being, I would pray (to myself) that you are strong enough to withstand a little bit of challenge now and then.

If you guys are really that sheltered and rather not eats dog s.hit now and than, that is your choice. I for one eat dogs.hit for breakfast and s.hits out GOLD. - figuratively speaking of course.

The case was, Goddy was banned for flooding and not swearing.

I think nobody make some meaningful response until u say some foul language then some 老友 will turn u in to the admin. and then admin will ban u from Edin.....I mean LYK

exactly. It was fun to play on this empty stage, too bad we all know how this will end. So there is no point in watching the rest of the movie.

who knows, lyk might still be popular again,

if only there are a few friendly sparks to keep things interesting...guess this place would become more of c9's gossip place than an arena for learned discussions.

I may still be wrong about how lyk is unpopular because it is repulsive to the "new age" young'uns, or may about the goals that admin had been aiming for had always been the older (read docile) audiences. just who know, what does it take to be popular on the internet? Are we a publisher or just distributor? How do we succeed as either?
