I think we had post before ..

Anyway, we went to 台北時尚精品婚紗 .. and were very happy with it, especially compare to the wedding pics we took in HK ..

I think they have office in HK now as well ..

However, it was 3 yr ago, when we had our wedding pic done, my friends went there last yr, the photographer who took pictures for us, was gone ..  ( he was quite famous, some of their display pic, with "Chi Ling" were taken by him)

Anyway, check out their web site!

He took around 150 pic for us ..  and we picked ~ 120 of them .. (vs over 200 pic from HK, and we barely picked 30, the package amount)  lol

我朋友介紹﹐佢年半前影過~超靚﹗ 價錢ok. 比香港的好多~

not really la. they are more reasonable...compare to those Vancouver one.. CAD$4000 for a pkg..yuck..
just only i am poor

also.. depends on how many photos u want la..their price is around CAD$2000 (my frd spent only $1500 CAD) but of coz u have to add the air tkt into ur budget la

so almost same price as Canada..

I think the air tkt w/ a stop over in Taipei (from Van to HK) around 1400 per person.. should be cheaper if u just go to Taipei round trip~

i am going to sophia this September too...i bought air tickets from 國泰, $1080/person, including hk. i booked 6 nights 7 days hotels around $350cnd. And my package is around $1000cnd la.

i bought the tickets in april(before they raise the price),yes included fuel&taxes. my package, have 43pic(12x18), 24x30油畫一張,7" 相框一個,8x12娘家本, 5 dresses for the bride, and 2 for groom. 太約八千多hk$(是用wedding expo 嘅pkg再收改),但我加了錢要指定攝影師同化妝師,所以一共一萬多hk$...我都請朋友在hk付錢的,攝影師用阿介加$750hk,mua用桓玲,and i will take her out for the whole day so add $2500hk. 朋友話如you spend most of the time outdoor better get a mua with u, it's worth it wor, 如果你唔用桓玲,用普通mua or assistant 就會平Ｄ,但一生人一次, of course want to pick the best la..

wow..u got the discount from the expo ah..so good...i will try to ask my frd in Taiwan to see if she can get some discount like this for me sin..but i expected to buy more photos than the pkg gar la.. but still cheaper than the Vancouver one..

阿介 + assistant 阿信? me too ah~~ That's what I want too..My frd told me to choose them.. and mua i am not sure as the one who used to help my frd was left.. but maybe I will pick urs too then..

So happy that you also choose Sophia.. Let me know the results too ah ~~

I went there in Jan ..

It was funny . ..  the photographer ..  and 3 other assistance .. all wear DOWN ..  and said " aiya .. very cold very cold "  and we went to the beach to take pic ..  ( good thing, NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE )

I guess, for TW people 8-9 degree is already cold .. but for us Canadian ..  it is perfect, just wear a shirt and dress ..

I always suggest to go there in Jan/Feb .. ( for Canadian )  I think their price is good too ( in general ) cost us ~ $3500 app. 3 yr ago, even add ticket price, hotel etc ..  are still ~ $6K, same price as Vancouver ..  so, basically, a free trip ..

Well, price is one thing, but most important ..  good picture!  and MF camera !! not  digital !

( you hv a choice, but who wants digital ?? )

However .. after ~ 3 yr maraige .. I notice .. wedding pic .. is more or less useless .. other people wont' care anyway .. but yourself... lol

if u have a fd who got a good pkg, u can ask her for her invoice #, they will match the pkg for you ne, that was how i did it, i used my fd's pkg, and cut what i didn't need and asked them to give me something else, that's why i got 43pic instead of 40.

i am worried about the weather too...i am going in the early september...anybody knows how was the weather around that time? plus anybody knows what flowers will they have that time? i mostly want to do outdoor pics.

For the weather part, let me try to ask my frd in Taiwan for the info. My frd told me that Nov is nice.. but not sure Sept.. since Typhoon in HK is till September... last year when i went back to HK (also Nov) the weather is very nice..around 18 - 22 (no rain at all) which i consider this is HOT

$3,500 just pic .. but we picked more then double amount of pic .. ( basic package was like 35 pic .. and app. $1600 back then .. ) however, they didn't hv office in HK at that time ..

You can email diff places for pricing .. and go to diff TW wedding forum, and check out their rating ..

Oh .. shipping may be another issue .. check how much will they charge you, for shipping the pictures/album from TW to Canada ..

But no worries la..everything should come out fine ne~~

I think the package price should have included shipping already..as they know that you are from oversea..(that's what I remember..)maybe should worry about the album and photo during transit ba~~ so need to choose a famous and reliable company with experiences

yes she just got married...haha, by the way, i think we have to pay extra shipping cost to canada ga, not included, my fd, of course and your fd, said...around a few hundreds canadian wor...and thx for the info too^^

o forgot to say, i e-mailed and called sophia and asked them for the shipping charges, but they said they have no idea wor, it depends on the courier company, so they told me to ask them myself...?? if u have any idea, let me know too..thx

It is actually NOT that expensive .. shipping cost in TW .. is way cheaper then Canada, ( that is why, we always buy magazine from there )

I just not sure if they will charge you extra " handling fee " ....

It ended up my friend in TW mail our stuff to us, with 5 Albums, 2 big "painting" pics ... total around ~ $ 250 cad for Fedex .. ( I can double check )

I am not sure how big and how heavy it will be ne...most likely will charge by weight... coz my wedding will be in HK anyways..so maybe I will ask my TW frd keep it in her place sin..and then when she goes to HK..bring it to my relatives..

she will marry to a HK guy this Nov anyways (that's y I am going back to HK + stop over in TW in Nov

)...she can get it for me...

I think for courier (ex. Fedex, DHL, TNT), from Canada to HK, a pkg that weight around 3 kg = CAD$100.00+ already.. EMS will be cheaper..but it takes longer..(7 days) and their service...

so..expected to spend a few hundreds for shipping then... i didn't think of that part ne....

thx 小叻 , i got back from the trip lu, i didn't have a chance to take any pic with flower background,since 攝影師said not a lot of flowers that time,and not worth it to pay and get in for flower shots wor, kinda disappointed lor,but other than that, the weather was perfect that day...

It's great that the weather is nice there in SEPT!!!~~ My pic taking date is now 11/21..getting closer.. didnt use 阿介 coz he is fully booked =o= and now using 至延..thinking to pay for the make up artist to go with us on that day to change hair style and make up etc too.. I am not planning to take the 花海 lu..probably the 希臘小白屋, 海邊 piano﹐陽明山瀑布,,, 想去埋漁人碼頭的情人橋但唔知近唔近~到時再問至延lor.. print jor some photos from other jm la.. just screen shot and color print them.. didnt print much on the dress / styles..etc.. haha will go there to choose at that time.. How long did u take to choose clothes ah? many selections? is ur sales rep nice? Mine is 小愉..heard that she is very nice and 熱情...but u know.. never know the truth until u see it haha~

honeslty,i don't remember the name of the sale rep.hahaha...once i got there i just focused on the dresses...but she didn't provide a lot of choices for me, (maybe i am tiny) so not a lot of choice, i don't know...but at the end, the dresses i had were nice...i only spent an hour and a half there...better to have the color u want in mind..easier to choose from there, by the way, prepare that the dresses u like might be taken already..so have to pick others...o..if u want to take pic at 希臘小白屋, insist to go ar,coz' i didn't insist to go and 阿介 said he can take me somewhere similar without paying any fees...and it turned out...no good...i wish didn't listen to him ne...

o...i bought shoes for the pic, and turn out i didn't wear any of them AT ALL....coz' all of the places we went, u have to go up hills, climb up and down, get your foot wet, so no shoes all the time...even in the studio...since the dresses are all so long..it covered your foot, so no need for shoes..haha
