the attacker didnt initially sit beside the victim either.....he changed his seat after a rest stop.....
so i guess this is a random attack ?

上周在灰狗長途巴士上砍死鄰座青年麥克萊恩、割下他的頭臚和內臟及吃下死者人肉的加拿大華裔男子李偉光（Vince Weiguang Li），周二再度提堂，向法庭提出一個要求：「請殺死我！」法官接納控方的要求，下令他接受精神病檢驗和評估。駭人聽聞的兇案細節陸續曝光，揭露李偉光竟把割下來的死者耳朵、鼻子和部分嘴巴放進褲袋內。　　女主控官喬伊絲•杜米恩陳詞時，講述這宗兇案上周三發生時的更多詳情，法庭內的人聽了都覺得毛骨悚然。她說，當到場的警員制服了李偉光及把他拘捕時，在他右褲袋內發現一個膠袋，裏面裝了死者的耳、鼻和部分嘴唇。而他當時曾對警員說：「我要永遠留在巴士上。」　　杜米恩說，被告共砍了麥克萊恩20至40次，在殺死對方及割下他的頭臚後，拿着死者的頭在巴士上行來行去，又揮舞人頭唬嚇車外的警察，一度把頭擲在車廂地上。他身上有一把利刀和一把較剪。有警員目擊他切割死者的屍體，然後吃下部分人肉。　　李偉光被扣留期間，大部分時間都閉嘴不回答問題。不過，他接受警員盤問時，先後四次低聲說自己有罪。　　2004年從中國移民到加拿大的李偉光被控以一項二級謀殺罪。法庭已安排了一名律師，但他拒絕與律師合作，不肯回答任何問題。李妻曾指在案發之前，丈夫曾經因為行為怪異，在精神病院內住了四天。警方正查核這方面的資料。　　在庭上，法官問他是否想要律師？他只是搖搖頭，平靜地說：「請殺死我！」
