中國田徑超級巨星劉翔今天一宣布退出男子一百一十公尺跨欄...
劉翔退出，是因為痛得實在不能忍受。他腳跟鍵一直發炎，但強忍著傷痛練習。到出場前，實在痛得沒辦法，唯有硬做按摩，劉翔痛得全身發抖，咀脣都咬破了，才能勉強踏上賽場，但最後都是要退出
so disappointed.

Do you really believed in it?
So many emotions and high officials come out to express their gratitude?
so many high gold medals hopes slips and no such things happen.
Just like scenes of a drama sequence.
Ah AH.

我自己好佩服所有出黎參賽既運動員，好彩既，有個獎牌攞，唔好彩既，受埋傷，國民唔理解既返到去仲俾人冷落兼埋怨，運動生涯分分鐘蜊上句號。

真係一d 都唔好受！

i sympathize him... but being on home front and participating with so many home crowds expecting you... it is hard to make a decision to run or not to run....

i am sure he was under a lot of pressure in the past few months, guys please give him a break. he already knows he regretted it... it is just bad timing.

why??? i didn't see that.. maybe my eyes are bit off-sight...

I support all 運動員(except those who cheat / use drug)! no matter they win or lose!
they've been practicing for MOST of their lives & for those moments. You & I have done nothing other than sitting in front of TV watching & expecting them to win ... even if they don't win / can't complete the tourment, we have absolutely no right to make harsh comments on those 運動員.

刘所受的压力及其狀態，他应已不能享受比赛，開小差的可能性很高。我們生活在自由的社会，比赛與否，屬個人選擇。但這是中國，身不由己的事比我们多。姑勿論真假，都應敬佩其往績，尊重其選擇。那怕這是一番造作。

當人地連國內國外醫生出黎解話都話唔信﹑一定要咬牙切齒話係陰謀, 我覺得已經無講落去既必要.

劉翔傷退新華社三天前就知道

楊明是新華社資深體育記者，「中國足球聯賽揭黑第一人」。劉翔18日退出奧運會110米欄預賽後，楊明和同事採寫的特稿《悲壯劉翔》字字感人。當然，更讓人驚訝的是，楊明在一個月前就預言「劉翔的傷勢將成為他奪冠的最大障礙」。
「劉翔跟腱的傷勢被隊裏藏得太好了，致命傷的爆發也就是3至5天前的事。」楊明事後道出了實情，「傷病對於高水準的運動員是致命的，就像癌細胞分裂一樣，你不知道何時會是爆發點，所以危險一直存在。再加上劉翔近年傷病很少，奧運會前的突然退賽令我很擔憂。」楊明表示，劉翔的跟腱「問題嚴重」是賽前3天通過內線打聽到的。8日的隊內測試，劉翔本應跑兩次，但因為跟腱突然感覺不適，就臨時終止了。那一次是轉捩點，那時起他才知道他的跟腱會是個「大隱患」。
