最近轉職, 在Broadway, between Oak and Granville 左右上班; 有時單吊, 有甚麽經濟又好吃的?

今天吃了此生最難吃的越南牛河 ...

Granville 往西行幾個鋪位有間中國菜叫　「林」，　試過兩次都不錯.

還有Memphis Blue　就在你要求的位置

There is a pretty good Indian restaurant. I think the name is Raga. I had dinner there once.

There is vietnamese restaurant besides 頤和園. I don't know if it opens for lunch but dinner it's quite good.

Is Memphis Blue still there ?? I thought that location has been closed already.
It wasn't there when I went couple months ago.

there's a place called Rugby Beach Club about one-minute walk east of Oak...towards cambie...it's on the second floor...

food not bad, price is quite cheap...but service was VERY VERY SLOW on a packed friday night...not sure about lunch

Vera ... I tried it; good burger, but if I'm solo, I can't even finish half the meal. (fries+burger+drink) and I end up sleeping at work in the afternoon ...

I have to bring my wife to share the meal.

Hey I just read about this Mediterranean restaurant called Kayan. Reviews seem alright. They have lunch buffet $11.99. May be you can give it a try too. (and report back)
includes things like salad, hummous, dips, soup, rice, some stew, some kabob, pasta and some dessert.
It's at the old location of Tojo.

work is very rough and busy recently ... had a lot of panago/Mac/Sub

the one I just tried ... Fish on rice ... (most western co-worker likes all you can eat sushi)

in a nutshell ...

average HK style all you can eat Japanese foodi ... (i.e. i went just because I needed to socialize ..)

yeah.... a lot of work lunch is not about the food...
