Hi guys, I am doing an academic paper about the service industry and I need to do some primary researches. Hope you guys can help me out by participating in this poll. Thank you!

The following is my augment.

In a service situation, when customers perceived an employee to be physically attractive, they will have a lower expectation of adequate service from that particular employee.

That is, people will tend to have more tolerance toward a physical attractive waiter/waitress when he/she make mistakes and will expect less from that particular waiter/waitress.

Girls (chinese) won't hv toleration for hot chicks ..

I don't care how they look. Actually I do. I expect all servers to be presentable at least.
But for serious mistakes, I don't think I will act differently to a more handsome guy or a hot girl. I will complain regartless. And for minor mistakes, I don't even care.
I guess the food itself is more "attractive" to me than the servers.

for me, i actually care about their attitude
i have more tolerance for ppl who are nice n actually feel bad for making mistakes (someone that actually cares)
a hot waiter that has a bad attitude is still not gonna help...

i want both.....attractiveness and service quality...but of course service quality will be more important

if the service sucks/attitude's bad, doesn't matter how they look. In fact if it's a hot gal throwing attitude it'll disgust me even more and i'll tip less than if it's an ugly fat waitress w/ attitude.

if the service is good, attitude way up there... then if it's a pretty waitress, i'll tip quite a bit more

I think it's their attitude too. If they are kind and polite, I do not really care how they look. However, if I go to the food court and have hard time to decide which booth to eat, I might consider the one with pretty girl sitting in the counter first.

i went to Sammy J Pepper in Richmond on sat and those waitresses were giving me a tough time focusing on the Canucks game!

really, i know the owner there and its waitresses are little bit chubby. again, i went there for the food.

who are you referring 色狼 to? 色狼 (sex offenders) are those who committed physical sexual crime.

As a Sales point of view (Car, Real Estate, car insurance, life insurance..department store) Pretty girl can take advantage most of the time! That's what people call sex sales(I mean not the dirty thought)
