i do not think neither of those place can be quiet lol coz it is a rather crowded dinner place

and of course if u want to compare those two, Keg has better steak than boathouse la -_-
boathouse is for seafood.....

how about white rock boathouse? my coworker said it's better than all other boathouse...

rmd keg is loud.... i was there once for a bday dinner and it was hard to chat with all the noise around.

I have been to Keg Richmond many times and I found:
- Steak is quite good
- Very Noisy
- No service: never see the server around
- Take extremely long for food to come

Richmond Boathouse
a few times when i was there, there was always a whole section that they didn't open, (the only time i see that section open is during Dine Out Vancovuer), May be you can ask them to open that section for your party, then it won't be too noisy

it's end up we went to boathouse with quiet section.. we got good services.. and the manager always come over and serve us..

it's end up.. $750 for 10 ppl before tips

my sirloin and lobster is so good.. the steak is so juicy and tender.. .. I also had a crab meat & shrimp with mushroom, but it's too salty for me..

I like my friend's salmon salad.. so huge

4 of my friends ordered prime rib.. not as good as my sirloin.. tasteless

$750 for 10 people, it better be good, but depends on how much did you drink.
Sirloin steak $20-25 and $30-35 for Prime rib so there is quite a bit of room for
appetizers, desserts and beverage, and if you tip 20-30%

boathouse, overpriced. Those lobster/crab legs are all frozen crap.

keg, only prime rib is good. Other steaks seem dry and tasteless. I rather cook my own steak from Safeway.
