I like cheescake with light, not too rich on cheese taste. Btw, Sweet Revenge on Main St. is not bad, especially their Chocolate Mousse cake. But the place is too small and the temperature inside is too hot.

Chesecase 101 already folded? I went there once a few months ago and want to give it a try but it was closed at 6:00 p.m. I was just about half hour late. Never go back again since I do not live in that area.

your students can make a better cheesecake than Cheesecake Etc.? LOL.... I really doubt it.

it is not up to you to praise yourself being better. it is the customers to say whether you are good.

He teaches Food Safe in chinese. Therefore some chefs took his Food Safe course in order to get the food-safe certificate since their English is not good enough. Some others like my sister just want to take his cours to see how good he is. Yes, they are his students. Did they learn cooking from him? LOL...

At least I had heard comments from people who had been his students and actually tried out his foods. It makes me doubtful about his true qualification and capability.

How come people still pay him to be their consultant? You need to realize that his courses are high-class courses, in addition to those at the school board.

My classes are more expensive  because I'm the highest pay instructor; however, | offer 100% refund
if anyone think my class sucks in the first 2 hours and request for withdrawal.I teach 2,000-3,000 students annually, So far it never happen in my 28 years with all the school board, VCC, PVI & BCIT, STI and the alike. My personal coaching rate is $150-200 per hour for Culinary Competition and Master Class, yet I get referral from clients and students, my strength is the success rate of my students, financially or successful in their career. I have helped 50 of my students to achieve their Canada Red Seal and sponsored many to get certified as chefs, dozens to become cooking teachers.
Chinese only account for 20% of my students so Not all my students are[ Chinese Chef who do not know English] or [Homemakers who have nothing better to do] as accused.  I will not reply to this thread anymore, I have never offensed   any LYK member, and if you bother to read all my threads, I did very modest defending and try to clarify without counter-attack. This is not a place to advertise, I voice my opinion as a humble LYK member, so please let me rest in peace.

I don't think they are $$$. It was like.... $6 for individuals and $20-$30 for a cake size. Give them a call and ask if you are not sure.
