Well..they raised the charges and sometimes they just "estimate" what your charge will be..then they will credit your account back the next billing cycle.

Usually my bill was around $30 a month and once they charged me $200+.....so I paid it and I had $170 credited back to my account and I didn't have to pay for the next 6 months..ha

they always screw up or over-estimate but don't worry, it usually corrects itself AFTER you paid your bill

Wow, your bc hydro bill is so cheap? Why do i get like 80 dollars every month, I live in townhouse only..

one thing tho.... last month had been so cold for so long. so i would expect this upcoming bill to be more expansive than last December's bill.

mine is $130.05....down from $116.18 from previous bill. it says its an estimate, but i've never seen a credit.

well mine was $30 when I lived in yaletown..coz our maintenance fee includes hot water and hot water heat...so heat was free

now in richmond I'm paying about $45 a month....still cheap compared to a house because there's not hot water heater

also for those who's heating bill jumped suddenly, you might want to check up on your windows...a lot of windows leak heat, esp. in the winter time. this year we bought film to insulate our windows and our apartment is MUCH warmer, even without turning on the heat.

Oh .. good that I know, it is the same in BC!!

Every bill/charge/tax has been going up like crazy this year ... but income? going down like DOW ...

I guess most houses in Van, are not double wall (or triple) and double window.? or they do now?
