CRTC approves five foreign language stations for Canada (Feb 26, 09)

Star Chinese Channel is a Mandarin-language general entertainment channel that covers a wide range of programming from costume drama to contemporary series, cartoons, news, lifestyle, talk and variety shows.
Channel[V] Taiwan is a Mandarin-language trend-setting niche music channel that features the latest Asian chart-topping music videos, large-scale music events and compelling original programs.
Star Chinese Movies 2 is a Mandarin-language niche film channel that brings viewers some of the best Chinese movies from the 1970s to the1990s.

According to this page, these channels are already available from GekTV & Kylin TV for Canada.

They're both IPTV... Anyone tried? how are their quality?

We've the Kylin TV box for aprox. 2 years. I felt that they are cutting off many programs. They are not updating regularly. I don't think it is worth the money to get it. But my bf is paying for the monthly so we still have the box but we seldom watch lol

I rather use the monthly fee to get TVB DVDs.

I mean, do we have that much Chinese to watch that much Chinese TV stations?
Like in our home we couldn't even watch enough FTV to make it worth the money.
