lunch 時段有學生煮o既食物供應
同事話試過ok而且幾平
有人試過嗎?

im a baking & pastry art student there =)
and i've tried the cafe there, but not sure which one ur talking about, coz theres 2 !
i've tried the JJ's lounge, is the more expencive one, and the food tastes just like actual restaurants outside made by real chefs =)
and every friday, they have buffets !

i've been there once for lunch. the place is not bad. but you need to keep in mind that those are students, from servers to cooks. and that, they are all learning. so it takes longer than usual to get your food and orders etc. but they all try their best to do the job right.

hehe i'm a vcc student too but i'm in hospitality mgmt. there are two restaurants there... JJ's Fine dining (french cuisine) is run by culinary arts students, and Four Corner's is run by us, the hospitality student. I go to JJ's every week cuz the food is so good yumzzz and cheap. Four Corner's used to be good but last year they changed the menu and tried to cut back on cost so the food isn't that great... except for the week where they do flambe steak, that's a MUST TRY.

for both restaurants reservation is recommended... JJ's phone # is 604-443-8479. you can call them mon-fri from 11am to 12:30 pm.

they are open during summer too, but i was told by the teacher there that they will be in pne (???? dunno why) towards the end of summer.

it's around $23 i think, can't remember the exact $.
it's on every friday night.. and once i tried to book it but i was told that i need to book a month or two in advance cuz it's so popular~ regular monday to thursday it's menu dinner.

Interviewed at VCC, culinary arts department head John-Carlo Felicella says the restaurant experience will provide valuable training for the students, who will be assisting with food service at the 2010 Aboriginal Pavilion.

Oh... I missed the four corners~~~ We used to eat while cooking LOL... making extra fries LOL ... it was pretty fun

The qualities are ok for their price, because the instructor often double check the order before it got sent out.

yeah this is my final semester.. my last exam is on thursday then i'me DONE!!

it was fun eating in there during class.... in the kitchen... hehehehe... loved it

they changed instructors i think in four corners so their food isn't that good anymore, except the all time yummy flambe steak.

the buffet is around $21.xx, and they are already fully booked till the end of May

as i said before, you need to make reservation a month or two in advance for buffet.

It is much better to get a job as pastry chef' , less stress and way better working environment.
Also, much easier to learn culinary arts once you have the baking background.

You have a long way to go, I happened to meet a whole bundle of junior chefs
at the BC Chefs' meeting at Earls Yaletown on Tuesday.
The kitchen brigade there are youngsters, in their 20's and early 30's

Foods-Good quality
Service-not bad
the only complain was not enough air con at the place, and of course, limited selection for the entrées...but overall not bad...
