I used to go there often. It was not bad at all and the service was up to par. I even took my whole group of friends there to hang out and event did most of my wedding planning there. Discontinued going for months coz i moved further away. Went back last week and OMG!

About 1/2 way into the tofu stone pot soup, I saw a bug. Not a small one, big enough to clearly see the wings on it! I waived the waitress over and pointed it out to her.

She looked at it for a few seconds and then walked away and stood still from a distance! I was like: WTH?

She expects me to continue staring at this bug?. I was speechless

myself at her action or actually,...NO action! I kept looking at her wide eyed until she was uncomfortable enough to come back to me. She was like: "ur............um........, do you want another..... one?". I said: "No, I don't think so! The soup is coming fr. the same pot!". She stood there for another 10 seconds and said: "well, do you want me to take it away?"

She took it to the kitchen and how dare the cook peeped out from the kitchen and stared at me as if I did something wrong!

I asked for the bill. I ordered the tofu soup and chicken wings. Well guess what, I was charged for every penny of them! I was like: "You are going to charge me for the soup?" She said: "Yeah!". I was furious!

I said: "I am NOT going to pay for the soup! I will pay for the wings coz they were ok but not the soup!" Her face turned black and away with the bill. Came back 5 minutes later and put another bill on my table then walked away without a word. With that attitude, it was like I am the one at fault! I didn't yell or scream. I was even very quite as not to make a scene and not to scare other customers eating (although there were only 2 more tables with 4 customers in total).

I paid for the full amount without leaving her a tip.

I really should've taken a pic with my cell and threaten to take it to health authorities!
Oh, and the so called Thai Wings were just deep fried wings with vietnamnese hot sauce!

The story didn't end here...

Questions for you:

1. Notice what the server didn't do throughout the entire incident? (I remember the conversations above WORD for WORD!)

2. Guess what I did after I paid.

I have been there 2 times totally. I hesitated to go because only one or two tables each time when we are there. I do have feeling about the food either not acceptable or the services are not up to normal.

They are lucky, we do not have issure any any ET in our food.

1st guess: you ask the manager to come out? not much use..
2nd guess: you email to the health authorities and report the incidents..hope someone will go to the store and inspect their kitchen?

If I were you, I will say it out loud and phone the health department~

1. didn't even APOLOGIZE
2. so what did you do?? (since you didn't make a scene right there and then, I don't assume you make a scene afterwards)

May be we do not do anything, including not going there anymore and let it naturally aborted. Then we do not have to "make any scene afterward"
