英國一個專門研究嬰兒死亡的基金組織警告，父母應盡量避免與嬰兒同床，尤其是體重在 2.5公斤以下的早產嬰，父母吸煙、飲酒後、曾服藥或非常疲倦，仍然與嬰兒同床更是高危，專家指母親可以在床上餵哺母乳，有助提高與嬰兒之間的親暱感，但若曾吸煙及飲酒就應該與嬰兒保持距離；當地的病理學家指，過去一年 15宗嬰兒猝死個案中，有 7宗是與父母同床。

In that case, the whole family of 4 is living in a less than 100 sq.ft unit! The adults shouldn't have considered to have any kids in the first place.

aiya .. I hv to becareful then .. I just nap with my baby .. not actual sleep gei .. just let him laid next to me .. still keep some distance ..

However, I am more worry about when he sleeps with my wife .. I mean when my wife is feeding him .. he fall asleep all the time .. same as my wife ...

This is not the problem. I grew up in a 100ft unit too with a family of four. Does that mean my parents shouldn't have me? I have so much good memory about my childhood!

The problem is that the parents don't know what they're doing...

Sleeping in the mother arms won't be dangerous la...don't worry.

You should read more about SIDS if you haven't already...

一定唔好 side by side 瞓啦, 就算一隻手唔覺意擋住口鼻都會有危險.

湊小朋友一定會有意外, 但做父母既只可以將機會減到最低啦!
