北美華商遭電話勒贖、行騙事件不僅未見停歇，且似有惡化之勢。有受害者向本報表示，日前接獲假冒中僑互助會名義的行騙電話，她訓斥對方後，開始每天30通騷擾電話的噩夢。也續有本地華商透露接到恐嚇勒贖電話。

堅持不能寫出姓名的華裔A小姐敘述，上月24日從手機接到一通電話，有名女子以普通話直接說出她的名字，並稱代表中僑互助會，通知她該會將在26日舉辦創業講座，地點位於列治文河濱，A小姐可用手機的後四碼作為「入場號碼」。

之後這名女子還與A小姐話家常，詢問有沒有工作，當A小姐表示有工作時，這名女子還說：「現在工作不容易找。」由於26日A小姐有其他事情，未參加「創業講座」，但當時確實以為是中僑互助會打的電話。

一周後，該名女子詢問是否曾參加講座，A小姐表示沒去，對方說，因為有入場號碼，因此主辦單位幫忙抽獎，A小姐抽中了15萬美元的第二特獎，主辦單位的律師需要身分資料進行核對，只要兩小時，就可以給錢了。

A小姐早發現對方行騙，想聽聽對方還想說什麼，當對方要求身分資訊時，問：「既然妳連我的電話號碼都知道，怎麼會不知道我的身分？」對方答還是需要確認。A小姐再問對方怎麼知道她的電話號碼，這名女子一副「裝無辜」的口氣。

A小姐忍不住訓斥對方：「怎麼可以冒用中僑名義行騙？為什麼不好好做人而要做騙子？」這名女子身分被拆穿後，老羞成怒，回罵「妳這人怎麼這樣子，怎麼在國外生活啊」後掛斷電話。沒想到整起電話詐欺事件不但沒結束，反而是噩夢的開始。

A小姐表示，掛斷電話之後一連三天，每天都收到至少30通騷擾電話，甚至將她的語音信箱灌爆，而且這些電話顯示號碼多為「Unknown」或是1-305-xxx，她回撥，是無人接聽的空號。

根據A小姐提供給記者的錄音，大部分的語音留言僅有數秒，沒有人說話，但背景相當嘈雜。其中一通留言可明顯聽到一名女子說髒話：「X婆，不接我電話，X妳的X。」

A小姐則表示還有留言中傳出兩名女子對話，其中一人說：「她不接妳電話是吧，好，我來打。」更有留言超過二分鐘，除了嘈雜背景，也傳出對話聲，似是詐騙電話中心。

A小姐說，由於惡劣留言需逐一刪除，可謂極盡騷擾之能事，她尚未報警，可能先嘗試向手機公司要求通聯紀錄後再處理。

另外，有一位本地華商向本報表示，日前接獲一通操內地口音男子的恐嚇電話，對方表示因為兄弟殺人，需要跑路費，勒贖二萬加元，否則對他不利，內容與近期許多北美華商接到的恐嚇勒贖電話十分類似。他急忙將電話掛斷，打算報警。

how about asking him back for 10X that amt of $, saying u can finish off his enemies for him, then he doesn't need to run?

I received one call before, I didnt bother to listen after I heard her very first few words in mandarin and I know its just scam. I just hang up

proves those 騙子 are getting smarter la.. from just plainly "do u speak chinese?" to saying they are from SUCCESS. who knows if they are already learning english and will use that when they are ready.

I would answer: "Oh I'm sorry, cuz I trust no one and I have no bank account at all, I just keep my money under my bed. How about give me the cheque/money face to face?"

if they speak chinese, i tell them that i can't speak english
if they speak english, usually i just tell them politely that i'm in a hurry and need to go out... then hang up.

So chung kiu helps people to find jobs? I am new here. This lady can go to her handset provider to report nuisance calls and they can trace the call and report to the police.
There used to be a '' job finding'' thread in this forum can anyone tells me where they go now? My email :
