I was told that the G10 has better ISO images. Still, both are very good camera. I was contemplating between the G10 and the SX200 as I am in need of a new camera. G10 sits in a very awkward place because it is so close to an entry DSLR.
In my case, I will get the SX200 for the HD recording and simple P&S function

Everytime .. the answer is YES .. but everytime .. SOLD out ..
I guess when FS is on sale .. BS will "HIDE" the same product .. or when DELL is on sale ..
Well .. depends how fast u go .. once a while .. u may hv luck .. before they HIDE their product ...

Dell's price went up to $499 the day after I posted it, then up to $549 the day after.
I checked with my buddy at the camera department, they don't price match online retailers. $489 is already selling at cost.... I guess it must have a price glitch at Dell (which happens all the time).
I think we should be happy for the price we are getting Elly, because no one selling below $500 at this time.

$415 dead cost .. sounds about right, ~ 20-25% mark up on DC .. I looked at the G10 few month ago, the shop owner told me the G10 costed him ~ $425, and he was willing to sell it to me for $450...

Just wondering: which type of memory card do you use with G10 to get the most out of the camera? The sales at FS suggests at least a Class 4 or 6 SD card. I've two (pretty old) Class 2 SD card...I supposed I should get new ones. Which type should I get? Any insight will be appreciated.
