Hello has anyone been to New York City lately?

I have a business trip to Toronto, and then i have 1 week of vacation. I was planning to visit NY, but then the swine flu seems to be big down there.

Has any LYK gone to NY lately? Or any relative who tells you some scary stories?

of course not go down there... how serious it is....
my sister in law is a flight attendant and one of her routes are to go new york and she doesn't like to fly to NY because of the swine flu~

If you "fly", there is always a chance to get the swine flu...

they were saying NY is the most serious state because they were hving some lab tests with the flu and it got out of control.....

People in USA .. worry about visitor from Canada ..

People from Canada .. worry about going to US ..

Not a big deal, if you are healthy .. just few days to recover ..

well the thing is that you dont know if you will get the flu or not.. cause the age group that gets the flu are teens-adults.. which hv the strongest immune system

there are 7 deaths in NY now, while US has only 19 reported deaths.

Mmmm, I really have to plan another place then.

I am living in New Jesey now (right next to NYC). I don't see any problems about swine flu. People keep working everyday, people keep shopping everyday. Just normal as usual. I don't hear any of my friends, relatives in NYC have affected by swine flu. Everyone is happy to live everyday especially the nice summer almost here!! But New Yorkers are afraid to go down to Mexico travel right now. Some of my co-workers cancel their trips already.

did you hear the latest news? there's a new report from richmond around no4 road? one of the kid from this elementary school caught the flu~

well.. there's nth you can avoid.. elementary school ends on 6/24.. 2 more weeks~ and then summer camps.... u dun want to force the kids to stay inside a house in da summer right??

Yo, all my buddies ask me to live in NEw Jersey instead, simply the hotels are cheaper and it is less infected with swine flu.

WEll, today the news look promising. I think I will still go there to pay a visit. I really want to visit BB king's venue.

So Mandy, do you go to Manhattan much?
