For people from Vancouver .. not that charming .. still a nice place to go ..

And great for da trip .. less then 4 hr drive .. and if you like wine .... ^_^

Also, it is super super hot in July/August .. easy ... over 40 degree ..

I go there once a while .. ^_^

Wine touring.
Must go to Mission Hill vineyard and have lunch there. a must go

Been to Kelowna few times for camping during the summer (and skiing trip for winter).  However, we didn't go around much outside of the camp ground.  We simply just enjoyed the camping facilities and the lake nearby.

Want to go back for another camping trip this summer, since wife and I both want to visit the campground where we had our first camp.  Still can't forget the stunning view of the night sky with countless stars and milky way.

If you're in the wine, Mission Hill could be a good visit.  The red wine that my friend brought back from there was really good.

Kekuli Bay is where we want to visit again:

However, note that this camp ground is so young that it doesn't have lot of trees (read as shade). So mid-day could be really hot. Also it is really close to a train rail.

We also been to Ellison (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/ellison/) which is a much bigger site.

Tinhorn creek!! It's nice there too. Also Thornhaven and Dirty laundry! These two are small wineries. They also have a nice view and Dirty Laundry has a patio so it is good for snack/lunch and more for wine tasting

For just winery, we've been to cedar creek and St. Hubertus. Both have good wine and are near Kelowna town.
For food, we went to Quail's Gate's Old Vine for dessert and cheese.
There are a lot of wineries that I want to go in Naramata and Osoyoos but they are a bit of a drive from Kelowna.

when you go to hotel, there is a map for all the vineyard.

I went to a few last year. I did some more research and I will go to the followings next time:

recommendation: bring a cooler when you go there and buy wine. coz hot weather can ruin your wine in the trunk
