This is not new or special. It happens in many other countries.

Cheating, of course, is not new. It's simply something every school and academic institution faces on a daily basis. Heck, SFU marketing students have been caught red-handed en masse as well. The stunning issue here is the level of technical as well as social sophistication that is involved here.

Of course, while corruption is hardly anything new in China, bribery and corruption of education officials isn't something you see everyday (or at least, not in civilized countries).

Cuz you're amazed that they can make such high technology out of your expectation?!

Gesh... of course I am not surprised by the fact that those sophisticated surveillance are available. If you have the $$, you can probably find some of those here in Vancouver as well. The shocking thing is that students would go that far and that extreme just for the purpose of cheating. And remember, sophisticated surveillance technology such as those is NOT cheap.

If you are really that desperate for  marks, why don't you just do a little studying, you know?

Makes no sense at all...

Obviously, what they do is not right.... but  I am surprised to see such an organized methd to cheat...!

Ya, that too. As I was saying, if you are willing to go through that much trouble just to cheat, isn't it much easier to just study a little?

Why would you care if the students want to study? There are students who cheat all over the world. Of course, you never pay attention to other countries.
