What you said is completely self-contradictory. China's industries are certainly capable of high quality and precision if they are able to apply "strict guidance and management control". They have the technology, but it is not profitable to use it to mass produce cars.
What China lack is a market for quality cars that is wholly engineered in China. Or in other words, it is not worth the money to develop something when they can simply make money using established designs-like Toyotas'. Which they ship to other place to sell anyways.
Those crappy made in China cars are intents to be crappy, because that is what most people in China can afford right now. Of course the fact the cars are a safety hazard does not make these points anymore acceptable. |
