You got to love the way they skipped the part when the dynasty era ended and everyone was running away from the crazy leaders. It was like, Ancient China <censored> Modern China with the Olympics, all sing and dancing!
The TVB version is like 5 hours, and it has a lot of fillers because they were going live. The opening show is like 1.5 hour , and than took like almost two hours for 11,000 athletes to march in. The actual opening ceremony is like half a hour.
