if u can afford a new one, it's always better; yet it's more expensive and initially it always depreciates lor...

depends on what kinda style u like, i actually know 2 ppl selling their scooter, let me know if u are interested:

1. 05 honda jazz with 1100 km, i think it has kelvar belt and light weight pulley (so top speed gain; haven't rode it awhile but i know it passes 70 now going downhill ~ before was locked to about 63kph)

2. 07 Kymco Super 9, with about 3800km, it has kelvar belt, pulley, rollers, bell housing

and there might be a 02 BWS with 70cc kit or a 05 BWS with 70cc kit for sale if the price is right.

as for riding in wet, it's not so fun, just make sure u take it easy around corner and tires has good life (if used one). overall i would say as long as u dun worry to get soaked, it's not too bad (except u will feel even more cold when u are soaked)...

i rode out just last sunday and 10 mins after i got home it started snowing, but it was definitely the best in the world...i miss riding lol
