I bought one before my trip to Alaska few months ago.  You can actually mount it on the camera body, instead of the lens.  It's relatively expensive, but my idea is to be able to use two camera at the same time, which actually works pretty well.  But for daily use, I still prefer my regular high quality strap which work better on weight reduction.

BTW, they are available locally here in Seattle at both Kenmore camera, and Glazer camera..

In my case, I didn't have flash on the camera..!  I was just using it with my 70-200 f/2.8 & 300 f/4 with and without 1.4x 2x TC on my 1dsm3, and 5dm2. wildlife shooting..!  What happen is the RS-5 allows the camera to go up and down without moving the strap itself, but my 2nd camera with the regular strap would sit on top.  Now both cameras can be move around without the straps tangle together..!

If I would to just carry one camera, and not worry about changing lens and tripod, then I think the RS-5 is good.  Otherwise, I like using the regular strap, where it can easily keep the camera in front of me for lens changing..!  But it's worth trying for yourself and see if it works for you.

I came up with the idea, when I had trouble shooting with regular strap with 2 cameras when I was shooting the parade couple months ago...!
