Some of the photos are heavily processed, but there are some great pictures there.  Wanna to share more of what you like or you don't?

I think I get your point here.  Your friend should have do the picking what she wanted herself.

I think they dp lag a emotion piece, but capture the environment/surrounding along with the couple fine.  So, like someone else says here, its the matter of style.

And honestly that's very typical Asian style.

Another thing I realized after shooting Weddings for number of years is to not over spend your money on pre wedding pictures.  Spend the money on the wedding day pictures where the real emotion moments are.

Let me try my best to explain.  Engagement photos are important, but spendinmg couple thoudsands on it, then left with no money to hire a photography during the wedding is a wrong move.
I know very few people who would look back into their beautiful pre-wedding photos years after.  However, I've heard from previous clients where they were so appreciate of the photos they received because they have the time and moments with their relatives and friends.
One of my client grand-mother passed away few months after their wedding, and another who have photos of thei relatively where they gather together for the first time since many years ago.  Those are true moment, and feeling where you can remember years after years when you go back to the pictures.
During your wedding, you have moment your true friends and family are expressing their true emotions, things they don't do and say in the past.  The good and bad moments.  That's what wedding days is about.
I have to admit that chinese wedding is quite diff. than western, where Chinese are mostly shy, and care about how they look (Like a show), vs the opposite.
I also believe I have better understanding of this after I am married, and getting older.  Something one my not understand until then..!
