I agree with you.  I have been shooting wedding professioanlly for the last couple of years as well here in Seattle.  It does take lots of experience and skills to be a good wedding photographer who can produce good works.

In most cases, I think you get what you pay for.

I don't knon Thomas in person, but I wouldn't be surprise if it takes more than 8 weeks before they photos are ready, since a lot of time can be spent to create well prepare digital images from the origianl raw formats.

To give you an idea, I helped one of my good friend to re-edit over hundreds of wedding photos which was taken in HK, because the editing works was so poor.  (Colors are off, and dark, etc..)  So, personally, I wouldn't trust photographer who have short turn around time ...!

I had Thomas So for my wedding 2 weeks ago.  He said I have to wait 8-10 weeks before I get to see the pictures.  it's just electronic files.  I didn't order any album from him.  I wonder if this is t ...
