i'm interested in getting a husky or a malamute...
anyone know any breeders in the lower mainland?

and anyone have any experience raising it...

yes, that's one of the many, many Qs i want to ask...
but still, i see a lot of them around town...

to answer your basic Qs... i live in a house... and i have a yard...
i'm active... but not as active as before... i prefer not to run anymore becuase they're hard on my legs (surgery)... but i will take the doggie out for a walk before and after work... my concern at the moment is when the doggie's a puppy... i can't bare leaving him at home for 8hrs while i work...

since this will be my first dog... i wonder if husky will post a bigger challenge for me...
say compared to labs and other "easier" breeds...

kinda leaning towards retriever now... sounds like an "easier" breed for a first time owner...
