if you need simple counseling help, I know there was one free service in Richmond Caring Place.  My wife and I went there about two years ago.

Here, they offered free consulting service regarding relationship or such (I do not know if they still have it for free but you can phone and find out).  My wife and I went there couple of time regarding family issue and they helped a lot.  They do have people speaking Chinese too.  Actually in my case, the situation is complicated too so it's not really "simple".
