I just came back from L.V. last month.  

You can go to Grand Canyon.  There are tons of local tours in the main strips.  You should join the local night tour too.

Do not worry.  There are many local travel agency on the main street of the strip, and you could not miss it.  I believe I paid 160 or something per person.  It including the grand canyon, the dam and lunch.  Remember to go on the glass skywalk in the eagle point too.



you cannot take anything when you walk there.  However, they have photographers who will take pictures for you but of course you have to pay them if you want to take home.

Haha, I am at work so I cannot grab photos I took from home.  My wife did post some of photos online in her friendster but I do not have her friendster account here too.

There are many shows you can show but there are two types mainly, and you should ask yourself if you like magic shows or broadway shows.

Just stay in the main road, you will be fine especially when you go downtown (the old strip).  The crime rate is pretty high in small streets.

so you did not go to the grand canyon?  My wife said it's kind of scenery that she only wanted to go once.  If you go the first time, you would be "wow" and then you most likely will not want to go back again...

so your life in vegas can sum up with one word: Drink?

Actually if my wife and I go on a trip, we do not mind to spend extra since we are there already.  Grand Canyon is a bit expensive (about 180 US with the Glassy Path) but my wife and I decided to go for it instead of staying in Vegas and shopping because we already spend money to go there.  The view was awesome.  It was neat to walk on the glassy pathway too.

The Grand Canyon is in the Indian reserve so I do not think you can drive pass the check point.  You still need to pay to exchange bus to go in.
