Vancouver has smaller market for concerts;

I remember long ago, I went to the concert of 任賢齊 in P.N.E... but that was long ago..

and G.A.L.A dinner has star like 王力宏, 陳慧琳, 楊千嬅, ...

or maybe there is no good concert place in Vancouver?  They used to hold convert in PNE or GM place but now all Chinese concerts were most held at that river rock place...

It would be nice to have the concert here. There are so many venues for concert here, all kinds of sizes. But some people claimed there is no good place.

come on.  have you seen any good CHINESE concert here lately? NO.  At least in my time I saw one or two okay Chinese concert.  Even Gala for the Chinese New Year is not what is used to be.  It's a lot of factor, more than just size of the places.  Even the one I went to see many years ago, the stage is not good enough to be considered good.  What's consider good place? seating + cost of the place + traffic + people are willing to pay to see the concert + more.  We are talking about Chinese concert here.  Here got nothing to do with race but it's true there are many successful Western concert but not many Chinese convert.

Do you know why some stars go to Toronto rather than Vancouver?

Definition of good concert place or proper concert places can result in many different factor.  Our definition of "good" concert place definitely different.  

If I am a star, a good concert place not only needs to have good seating, good stage and more.  I admit those ones many places in Vancouver already possess; however, I also consider the place good enough for me to host concert must have supply and demand factor and along with other too.  Good place would be somewhere my company can make enough money to cover for me to come here to host concert.

For a place good to host Western concert, does not necessary mean it's good to host Chinese concert because many factors are different.

If you are only arguing on the word "good" alone, then I have nothing more to say.

cat, just want to show that pete give false accusation.  Yes I did say some bad thing about China but it does not mean I am anti China.  He just likes to mis-read other's posts and accused someone.

Anyway, let's talk about sammi's.  If she does come here for concert, I need to see how much the tickets are and where it hosts;
