Do you wear new clothes for the Chinese New Year?

I did.  It is one of the tradition of the new year.

I bought a red shirt just for CNY too.

I thought that was one of Malaysian Chinese tradition too.

Well, we did go to "LIN SILK" in KK ... kind of fun ....  but super hot .. almost dead ...   (and I think I had eaten some bad food ... )

I always took some kind of shot first before I went back to Asian to prevent things like this.  

My wife really wished she can go back to Malaysian for the CNY so we probably will go next year.

Chinese New Year is considered big in Malay.  I have been there twice and both I had fun.  Everyone has to buy new clothes to wear from body to shoes.  They still keep a lot of traditions.

Is this the first time you have been to Malay?  Have you tried the food in Penang?  Penang food was rumored to be the best of Malaysian.
