Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?

After talking to a few of my friends recently, seems like those who have bf/gf wish that they don't, so they can make more dramatic decision for their career life.  They wish they are single at this age (~age25).

While those who don't have bf/gf usually has a more decent career life, but couldn't even have chances to meet opposite sex, and wish they can get a bf/gf.

I guess the Chinese eqv would be: 隔嚟飯香?

One of the toughest thing is, relocation.

I guess we all know by now that Vancouver is not really a place with booming business sector.  The east (Toronto?) or down in the US are where all those big companies and high-paying jobs are.

Long D has been proven that it doesn't work, but relocating together is hard as well.

Then there's marriage... when should that take place?

These hard-to-answer questions are what ppl calls Quarter Life Crisis... (for the ~25 yrs old)

Put it simply, coming over here to Vancouver was not the wisest decision.

What do you mean? Please elaborate.
