Nobel Prize has always been a recognition and respect to people who had made significant contribution to humanity. That is why so many people were awarded the prize years after the works they had done or achievements they had made. If my memory was correct, some people were awarded the Nobel Prize years after they died.

Nobel Prize has not been an award to “encourage” someone and for the contribution he/she has not made, except this time. It is really a joke and makes the prize itself a joke as well. What a stupid committee trying to please US.

Just remind me what a radio listener said in the call-in section in the afternoon show. He said  胡錦濤 is well qualified as well by this standard for his work to ease the relationship between China and Taiwan and the peace work China has done for North Korea. He had points, didn't he?
