I am losing respect to you. Does the dignity of being a Chinese mean anything to you?

China is lagging behind most of western countries both economically and politically. It is a fact and there are historic reasons for it.

It is more important to make a contribution to build a better China as a Chinese.

I don’t mind to speak shxt (by your definition) especially when I can stand tall with my proud Chinese root. Would you be ashame of being a Chinese when China was on top of the world at Tang dynasty?

When you make a mistake, do you have the gut to admit it and face it instead of denying it and defending yourself at all cost?

I guess you don't have respect to mainland Chinese for what they have suffered and been through. Are you ashamed of being a Chinese as well? When you deny your Chinese root, it just like denying your parents and your family root. I have the least respect to people like you.

So should a person be proud of his ethnic root depends on whether his native country has the same level of achievement economically and politically as the leading western countries such as Canada, US and Britain? If he is from Norway, it is cool and he can be proud of his root because Norway is a wealthy and free country. If he is from Iran, he is doomed that he should not be proud of his root because Iran is poor and ruled under dictatorship. Is this your stand according to what you said?

Why I am here in Canada? It is because I am lucky enough to live in the TODAY Canada but not the Canada 130 years ago when the Chinese did not even have a chance to because one of the Canadian. And also because of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives to fight for Canada in World War II when the Chinese were treated as second class citizen, the Chinese finally won the full citizenship in 1947.

Just because of the contribution and sacrifices our ancestors had made, I have a chance to live in a wealthy and free country.

Above is the direct quote of what you said (you only said one sentence). You did not even bother to find out what I was talking about before opening fire to me. How would that make your comments and criticism creditable and valid?

How would the honour degree be able to help you if you are biased and reject to read what you don’t want to read, refuse to hear what you don’t want to hear and to accept opinions that disagree with yours?
