#1) If you can realize general election next year, GREAT! I have no complain about that. But, to me, 10 years is an acceptable time frame, but 15 years is more practically realistic. Let’s see what it actually takes.
#2) Why do I insist on the providing of affordable housing should be injunction with the development of new economies? It is because I think it is more viable and possible. Reasons? Read what I already said.
#3) The details of policies of increasing land supplies for affordable housing is beyond my capabilities of discussion. I don’t know what will work or will not work in Hong Kong.
#4) Ask yourself this question – does the failure of trying to developing new industries conclude it is a wrong idea or it is a right idea but was wrongly executed? Singapore has been taking this direction. Are they stupid? (btw, I am suspicious whether you are confused by the word – “industry”. Manufacturing is only a type of industries. Filming is also an industry, for example.) |
