I am visiting in HK now and have been to some old "good" tea restaurants, and even they don't ask HKD$10 for cold drinks. I am really enjoying myself back here as food prices are more affordable than in Vancouver. I do miss the good taste and big portion in Vancouver.
To be fair, Lido is one of the few places in Vancouver that has some decent/traditional HK style milk tea and food. It is also the reason why Lido still has lots of customers even their prices are overpriced.
Yes, people like me don't go to Lido as often as they are expensive. Lido can set any prices they want and the customers will decide if it is reasonable.
